“A wondrous valley – rivalling for grandeur and beauty any vale either in the Alps or Pyrenees”, said George Borrow on the valley of Gelert.
Beddgelert is just how you imagine a chocolate box village in Snowdonia, with it’s stone built dwellings, tranqil rivers, a story of a local legend and surrounded on all sides by stunning mountains (all of which make great walks too!).
Serving up award winning artisan ice cream and sorbet, everything here is created in small fresh handcrafted batches on site and although the name may be misleading, you’ll find much more here than great ice cream. There’s a wide range of savoury food, homemade cakes, drinks and desserts!
