Hidden along a scenic tree-lined avenue in rural northern Warwickshire, south of Solihull and in the village of Tanworth-in-Arden, you’ll find a favourite pitstop amongst local cyclists.
Stepping inside the meticulously renovated farm building there’s delicious coffee courtesy of Monsoon Estates, freshly prepared breakfast and lunch bites and for those with a sweet tooth like I, a fantastic range of cakes, tray-bakes and pastries.
Cakes include a delicious vegan chocolate cookie or lemon and pistatcio, millionaire shortbread slice, cranberry and pecan flapjack and cinnamon swirls. The almond croissant was perfect for an early morning ride! The staff are extremely accommodating and there’s a great range of veggie, vegan and dairy free options available.
If looking for something savoury breakfast is served all day including bacon, sausage or halloumi, spinach and chilli chutney brioche rolls, avocado on soughdough and breakfast baguettes. As for lunch there’s a range of toasties and sandwiches including ham and cheddar, tuna melt and cheddar and red onion and kids lunch bags.
There’s plenty of seating for larger groups in their sheltered rear garden and indoors too, complete with a fantastic log burner for those chilly winter rides. Whilst you’re resting those legs you’ll be sure to get chatting to like-minded cyclists over your caffeine fix.
Espresso Farm is part of the Espresso Station group who own five coffee shops including the cafes at Birmingham Moor Street and Dorridge train stations, Espresso Barn in Long Marston and Espresso Quarter in Birmingham. Espresso Farm is their largest and most rural setting and one of our favourites.
