Nestled within the UNESCO Ironbridge Gorge is a superb family-run cafe and coffee shop serving up freshly prepared, seasonal delights, all cooked on-site in their open plan kitchen and cosy cafe.
Lunchtime delights include their famous goats cheese & asparagus or Mediterranean quiches (pictured), hummus & sweet potato quesadilla, fig & goats cheese salad and a wide selection of hot pressed sandwiches – the ‘Reuben’ with pastrami, sauerkraut, smoked cheese mustard & mayo is superb (pictured).
Their iced, pleated cinnamon buns are the talk of the town and are certainly the best we’ve tasted (pictured)! There’s also a superb range of homemade brownies, cheesecakes, frangipanes & scones including a drunk blondie with bourbon & pecans, rhubarb & strawberry frangipane, Eton mess and vegan dark chocolate & ginger crunch slice.
Inside you’ll find limited seating for smaller groups, larger groups shouldn’t be deterred however, simply takeaway and enjoy your snacks beside the famous iron bridge in the town centre overlooking the River Severn.
