Popular with the locals, this family-run cafe situated on the edge of the village of Mickleton in the stunning north Cotswolds is an ideal pitstop when cycling, walking or exploring around nearby Dovers Hill, Broadway and Ilmington or a stopping point for Stratford-upon-Avon and beyond.
You’ll find all your cafe favourites, alongside their all-day breakfast menu; ‘on toast’, breakfast baps, full English, soup, toasties, sandwiches, teacakes (artisan), ploughman’s, fish finger sandwiches plus larger meals too. We can’t but mention that the eggs are Cacklebean and feature a very orange (and tasty) yoke! There’s also Bob’s famous sausage rolls and artisan pizzas too. Cakes on our visit included a Victoria sponge, flapjack and coffee & walnut.
Outdoors you’ll find limited undercover seating alongside a good number of tables inside too. Advanced notification is appreciated and the owner, Bob, does advise larger groups may wish to look elsewhere if looking for a speedy food fix.
