The fresh sourdough toast with honey and double chocolate layered cake were super tasty!

A hidden gem located in Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter, famed for their decadent and delicious cakes (all baked on the premises), buttermilk pancakes, coffee and varied breakfast and lunch menu.

For those with a sweet tooth their cake cabinet will be hard to resist, varied specials include a salted caramel & banana loaf, double chocolate or strawberry layer cake, creme egg rocky road, glace cherry & almond and Bakewell blondie to name a few.

As for breakfast we can highly recommend their superb sourdough toast with honey, alongside peanut butter banana toast, breakfast wrap (bacon, melted Cheddar & scrambled eggs), a full English/veggie, bacon/sausage or avocado baps, omelettes, eggs on toast, porridge and buttermilk pancakes – the Biscoff, strawberry and whipped cream special was a popular choice on our visit!

For lunch there’s a large range of salads, toasties, wraps and burgers (all available gluten-free) and cyclist staples, filled baked potatoes or teacake. The coffee is excellent and there’s also a range of vegan and gluten-free options too.
