Amongst the myriad of dull and repetitive ‘cream tea’ touristy cafes in the beautiful harbour side town of Dartmouth you’ll find a new hip, modern and vibrant cafe serving up a delicious selection of brunches, lunches, cakes and coffee with plenty of options for veggies and vegans too.

Famed for their brilliant buns, you’ll find a superb sticky lemon alongside their classic vegan friendly cinnamon ones too. The tray-bake selection makes choosing tricky with morello cherry blondies, blueberry Bakewell slice (vegan), honey nut crunch, billionaire’s shortbread, raspberry cheesecake brownies and banana bread. If that isn’t sweet enough for you there’s also their famed brookies (a cross between a cookie and brownie) with decadent flavours ranging from a cookie & cream, Malteser (pictured) and Jammie Dodger (vegan).

As for savoury snacks for those early rides there’s a range of granola and porridge (berries & cinnamon or banana, Biscoff & cinnamon), alongside bacon sourdough sandwiches. You’ll find a selection of sourdough toasties and bagels (the avocado with feta & sweet chilli jam is delicious) alongside their famous ‘Bula bowls’; a smoothie you eat with a spoon, topped with honey toasted granola, chia seeds and coconut. Finally there’s a great range of American pancakes too; bacon & maple syrup, berries & greek yogurt, chocolate overload with blueberries and Biscoff & raspberry.

Due to the size of the coffee shop it’s perfect for small to medium sized groups with a limited number of tables out front too. Alternatively takeaway and enjoy beside the harbour, just a 30 second cycle away.

Note: to the left of the cafe you’ll also find their homewares, interiors and gift shop too.
