A fab, farm focused & 100% veggie cafe serving up delicious seasonal & locally sourced brunch and lunch alongside moreishly different homemade cakes, bakes and great coffee.
Specials on our autumnal visit were a Philly cheese steak sandwich, bubble & squeak cake or garlic & parsley flat cap mushrooms. Their breakfast menu is served all-day and includes eggs Florentine, veggie sausage sandwich, ‘farmer gids’ mushrooms, veggie muffin (with veggie sausage, muffin, hash brown & fried egg), avo on sourdough alongside a full veggie breakfast.
At lunch there’s a roasted red pepper, halloumi & red onion wrap, omelette, jacket potato with various fillings, cheese & tomato toastie or cajun halloumi salad.
The cakes are equally as tempting with some great alternative choices from your usual favourites; a vegan Jaffa cake, salted caramel & apple, coffee liqueur, avocado & courgette (gf), blueberry scones or Jaffa buns, alongside lemon drizzle or carrot cake (gf) and flapjacks (gf).
Outside and just down the hill you’ll find a large seated area beside the lake alongside a good number of tables inside too.
