coffee

Fabulous locally roasted coffee from Monsoon Estates also of Stratford-upon-Avon

taste

On our last early morning visit we had sourdough toast with cinnamon butter and a superb cappuccino. I'd highly recommend one of their double chocolate brownies or Bakewell slices

selection

Great coffee, in-house made cakes and a selection of sourdough toasties, sourdough toast, banana bread, bacon rolls, granola, yogurt & porridge pots

value

Americano (£3.40), cappuccino (£3.70), tea (£2.80), porridge (£3.50), yogurt (£4.00), banana toast & cinnamon butter (£2.50 a slice), Inkberrow bacon roll (£6.00), sourdough toast (£3.50), avocado on toast (£7.00), sourdough toasties (from £7.00), cakes (from £3.00), cookies (£1.60)

storage

There's council provided racking situated just to the left of the cafe towards Windsor Street

groups

Small to medium sized groups will find a good number of two seater alfresco tables out front (around 12) alongside a large room indoors to the back of the building or upstairs and a number of tables just as you walk in by the counter too

location

Located in the bustling tourist hotspot of Stratford-upon-Avon and just a stones throw from the River Avon. One of our favourite cycling routes from here is out towards Welford-on-Avon through Luddington and onto Pebworth, Mickleton, Chipping Campden and into the stunning Cotswolds ANOB

Found along one of Stratford’s most popular thoroughfares at Henley Street and hidden among a myriad of generic or chain cafes you’ll find this excellent, bijou coffee house serving up delicious brunches & lunches alongside homemade cakes and fantastic locally sourced coffee from Monsoon Estates.

Their double chocolate brownies are a huge hit with the tourists as is their toasted banana bread (with cinnamon butter), cheddar cheese & chilli jam sourdough toastie and bacon baps using meat from the Black Pig Company in the nearby village of Inkberrow.

Although small from the outside once inside small to medium sized groups will have no trouble outside off the busy weekend lunchtime rush finding a space with plenty of space both in their backroom or upstairs. Additionally there’s a good number of alfresco tables out front too.
