Family-run, railway themed cafe situated on the popular Greenway traffic-free cycleway and footpath linking Shakespeare’s Stratford-upon-Avon with the village of Long Marston. Boasting plenty of space for cycling groups of all sizes, fantastic home-cooked food and a log burner for those winter rides.
The brunch themed menu is served all-day and includes their very moreish (homemade) toasted banana loaf and stacked mcbob’s muffin; layered with bacon, egg, hash brown, cheese & hot sauce. A filling full English and veggie breakfast is served weekdays only too due to kitchen size.
Further brunch choices include a large selection of brilliant brunch baps, avocado & pea smash sourdough, a meat or veggie reuben, traditional cheese toastie and halloumi sticks. Larger meals include a smash burger with fries and fish finger butty too.
For those with a sweet tooth, the cakes are all homemade and on our sunny summer visit included a lemon & almond polenta (GF), chocolate fudge brownie (vegan), raspberry cheesecake brownie, rocky road slice, raspberry Bakewell (GF), carrot & walnut cake (vegan) or honey nut crunch slice. There’s morning pastries too. The excellent coffee is roasted by North Star Coffee Roasters in Leeds.
Out front you’ll find plenty of benched seating with some under cover, alongside a good number of tables inside the meticulously themed railway carriage too – complete with log burner for those chilly winter rides.
